ON THE MOUNTAIN SLOPES

Mount Mutria, one of the most beautiful peaks of the Matese, in the southern Apennines in the south of Italy, at 1871m offers us a spectacular view of the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Sea.
On the slopes of this mountain we can find pine and beech trees that shelter plants like blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and also truffles and mushrooms.
This area is distinct in the agri-food sector for its importance in the processing of mushrooms in central Italy.

VISION

Di Biase Srl founded forty years ago, transforms what nature hands us, selecting the best products, preserving and packaging the flavours of the woodlands, fresh, frozen, dried: the most favourite is surely the King Porcino.
The product range is enriched with other troops of mushrooms as well as natural products from woodlands like berries, chestnuts and asparagus.

-18 °C FRESH BELOW ZERO
The freezing procedure enables to maintain excellent organoleptic qualities for the major part of the mushroom species, vegetables, berries, that are retailed, guaranteeing their obtainability throughout the year.
The continual freezing process represents a critical point of control in every stage of production, repository, transportation, phases which are closely monitored within our system of hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP).
