Red fruit smoothie

RECIPE INDREDIENTS

(servings for 2 people)

200 g frozen red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, currants)
200 ml milk (cow or vegetable: almond, oats, soy, coconut...)
1 ripe banana (for sweetness and creaminess)
1-2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
1 teaspoon of lemon juice (optional, to liven up the flavor)

PREPARATION

Here's a quick and easy recipe for a delicious and refreshing frozen red fruit smoothie, perfect for breakfast, snack or post-workout!

 

Blend everything together
Put the frozen red berries, chopped banana, milk and sweetener (if using) in the blender.

Blend on high speed until creamy and smooth.
If it is too thick, add a little more milk or water.

Serve immediately
Pour into glasses and enjoy chilled.

You can garnish with fresh red fruits, mint leaves or seeds (chia, flax, hemp).

Add Greek yogurt for a more protein-packed smoothie.
Use coconut vegetable drink for an exotic twist.
Insert oatmeal or protein powder to make a hearty smoothie.
