Studies conducted by the National Food and Nutrition Research Institute have shown that the belief that frozen foods contain less nutrients than fresh foods is unfounded.
In particular, it is pointed out that frozen products are more nutritionally complete, and the reason is simple: vegetables are harvested, cleaned, washed, blanched in boiling water or steamed, and frozen in a few hours, so that all its nutritional values and vitamin intake remain intact.
